We started out as friends.
When Wendell and I first met almost 3 years ago, I would invite him over for dinner on occasion which is something Wendell really enjoyed. He loved my cooking. He thought that I couldn’t make anything that tasted bad. (If I ever did, I didn’t serve it to him ). Wendell has been so supportive I feel like I might be able to learn how to do anything! This is one of the qualities I really love about him.
We loved going to the movies together. Then we started a little business together. Then we took classes at the local community college together.
We went through all kinds of learning “bursts” together. We studied art and many other topics together.
As I got to know Wendell, I was really impressed by his interesting mind. His abilities — using the computer and knowing how to use tons of different software applications — were amazing. Then I started becoming aware of his broad range of knowledge from programming to his cutting edge knowledge of SEO on the internet and I was very impressed.
However it was his thoughtfulness and the kindness in his heart that really led me to fall in love with him. I have to say too that his encouragement and faith in me as a person gave me a pretty incredible feeling— I was convinced that I wanted him as a life long partner. His love, respect, and total acceptance of me have really changed my life.
He is truly my best friend and the love of my life.
